A Maker Lesson Plan

This week in CEP 811 I designed a Maker lesson plan on Creating an Interactive Cell Model. The goal of this lesson plan is to bring together the research I have encountered over the past few weeks (on constructivism, motivation, scaffolding, personalized learning, feedback, and Instructional Design), my pedagogy knowledge, and my prototype of an interactive cell model (designed a few weeks ago).

The result is a 180 minute, three day lesson that activates prior knowledge, conducts research, encourages collaboration, requires the creation of an interactive model and results in a gallery crawl to showcase student creations.

Still interested? If so, the full lesson plan can be found here.
